Bill has been performing his solo acoustic / electric show publicly since 1995 for a wide range of audiences and in various venues, from small clubs to outdoor amphitheaters. His musical background has allowed him the luxury of easily diversifying a show to meet the needs of the audience.
He began playing musical instruments at the age of eight and taught himself the guitar at the age of twelve. The guitar is what gave Bill his desire to develop the vocal style that is characteristically his today. His strong vocals and control over the guitar allow the audience to witness what is today, a powerful solo musical performance.
His show clearly demonstrates the early influences he had along the way, which were just as diversified as his music is today and includes artists from folk, country and rock including the Beatles, Neil Young, U2, Tom Petty, John Denver and Vince Gill. The music also reflects some of his current influences such as REM, Dave Matthews and the Tragically Hip.
